angels n demons movie

i’ve just spent more than two hours with Dr. Robert Langdon and I still really only know three things about him. One: He’s some sort of puzzle doctor. Two: He likes to swim in a speedo. Three: He doesn’t smoke. This is a sequel, so maybe I’m already supposed know everything I need to know about his character from having seen The Da Vinci Code, but even fans of the series are unlikely to remember his stint there as anything other than Tom Hanks wearing a ridiculous wig. He’s ditched the bad hair here, but he’s still devoid of life and you’ll be unable to detect even the faintest hint of a personality. That’s the real problem with this franchise. None of these characters have any depth. It’s not just Langdon, none of the people in this film have any actual traits to speak of. They have no history, no interests, no quirks, no passions, no pains, no hopes or dreams. They’re just empty ciphers who wander through the film spouting mostly meaningless dialogue about silly clues which all seem to boil down to angry statues pointing at stone slabs. Worse, the one person in the film who does have a personality is the villain, and because of that you’ll figure out exactly who he is within the first five minutes. It has to be him, he’s the only character worth knowing. We may be on the wrong side here.

Angels & Demons is like watching an Indiana Jones movie without any of the action, adventure, romance, or style. Robert Langdon is basically Indy stripped of both his wit and his whip, and then sent to wander around Vatican City with a hot Italian chick in whom he shows absolutely no interest. If Langdon has a libido, or even glands of any kind, Hanks does a good job of keeping them hidden. Instead he’s more interested in helping the Catholic Church, which hires him to help them solve the mystery of some kidnapped Cardinals and then once he arrives does its level best to pay absolutely no attention to him. Langdon stays on the trail anyway and gets very nearly murdered for his trouble. At no point does this seem to bother him or for that matter anyone around him. He simply keeps walking, oblivious and unaffected in any way. It’s not that he’s unflappable, it’s more like those things never happened and he’s already moved on to the next scene.

Director Ron Howard does deserve at least a little credit for convincingly recreating Vatican City without ever actually taking his cameras inside it. Their crew was banned from filming on the premises, though you’d never know it. Langdon strolls at a reasonable pace from one corner of Pope country to the next and it’s utterly convincing. Scenery is this movie’s strength and Howard is too good a director for his movie to look anything other than fantastic. In fact at times it looks so fantastic you may be momentarily fooled into thinking something interesting it happens. Unfortunately, it’s just another statue with fig leaf genitals.

It is however, easy to see why the Catholic Church has avoided slapping this sequel with the same loud and angry boycott it dogged The Da Vinci Code with. Da Vinci at least had the toy with established church doctrine. It got people thinking. Angels & Demons is either disinterested or incapable of doing the same. It’s approach to the subject of religion and history is at best, wishy-washy stuff filled with half-hearted attempts by Langdon to remind the audience that December 25th isn’t really the date of Jesus birth, all while we’re lectured by priests about the nature of God and faith. Angels & Demons is disappointingly inoffensive. Tepid though Da Vinci Code’s story might have been, at least it had the ability to piss people off. The sequel, unable to either entertain or provoke, is nothing short of a dismal, limp-wristed failure. It’s hard to fault either Hanks or Howard for it, it’s simply bland material which probably wasn’t even worth reading let alone making into a blockbuster, summer sequel.

Hiii.... Mr.Arief.. Sorry I'm late submit assignment,,
Please read the story...

The Old man and his camel

One very cold night, an old merchant was sitting alone in his tent when his camel gently pushed his head into and said, "Master, let me, but put my head within the tent. You see, it is very cold outside."
The Merchant welcomed him. Later on the camel said, "If I might, but warm my neck, too."
And he was pleased that his master made no objection. But after a short while he said again, "It will take only little more space if I place my forelegs within this tent."
"As you please," said the merchant, moving aside a little to make room, for the tent was very small indeed.
"May not I stand wholly within?" asked the camel, "I keep the tent door open by standing as I do now."
"Of course you may," said the old man, "I have pity on you this very cold night." The camel pushed forward into the tent, but it was too small for both.
"You see," said the camel lastly, "there is not enough room for both of us here. You are the smaller, so you had better stay outside, so that there will be enough room for me." And with that he kicked the old merchant out of the tent.

Thanks,,

it's some spoof text

Hai everybody!
i have some spoof text here,,
enjoy!!!

General and New Soldier

A man recently appointed general in the army was sitting in his new office when a new soldier walked in. Wishing to impress the new soldier, the general picked up the telephone and said, “Yes, Mr. President. I’m glad you like my suggestions. I’ll come by and give you a more detailed report at the White House a little later this week.” After hanging up the telephone the general asked, “Now, soldier, what can I do for you?”
“Nothing much, sir,” said the soldier. I just came in to connect your telephone.”

Potato Farmer

Potato farmer was sent to to prison just at time when he should have been digging the ground for planting the new crop of potatoes. He knew that his wife would not be strong enough to do the digging by herself, but that she could manage to do the planting, and he also knew that he did not have any friends or neighbors who would be willing to do the digging for him. So he wrote a letter to his wife which said “Please do not dig the potato field. I hide the money and the gun there.”
Ten days later, he got a letter from his wife. It said, “I think somebody is reading your letter before they go out of prison. Some policeman arrived here two days ago and dug up the whole field. What shall I do now?”
The prisoner wrote back at once. “Plant the potatoes, of course!”

The Clever Chauffer

There’s a story about how Albert Enstein was traveling to universities in a chauffer-driven car, delivering tectures on his theory if relativity.
One day while in transit, the chauffer remarked, “Dr. Einstein, I’ve heard you deliver that lecture about 30 times. I know it by heart ang bet I should give it myself.”
“Well, I’ll give you the chance, “said Einstein, “They don’t know me at the next school, so when we get there I’ll put on your cap, and you introduce yourself as and give the lecture.”
The chauffer delivered Einstein’s lecture flawlessly. When he finished, he started to leave, but one of the proffesors stopped him and asked a complex question filled with mathematical equations and formulas. The chauffer thought fast.
“The solution to that problem is so simple,” he said, “I’m surprise you have to ask me. In fact, to show you just how simple it is, I’m going to ask my chauffer to come up here and answer your question.”

Hii,,sir

sory,I'm late for submit assigment..

ummh,,I will tell you about jazz music....I like listen to jazz music,,huumh,,that's impressive music..I like jazz music, since my friend give me jazz album,,he want make me like all about jazz,,and then I fallin in luv with jazz music..
this is about jazz..
jazz history..
The history of Jazz music origins is attributed to the turn of the 20th century New Orleans, although this unique, artistic medium occurred almost simultaneously in other North American areas like Saint Louis, Kansas City and Chicago. Traits carried from West African black folk music developed in the Americas, joined with European popular and light classical music of the late 18th and early 19th centuries, became the syncopated rhythms of Ragtime and minor chord voicings characteristic of the Blues.

Jazz and Blues are among America's greatest cultural achievements and exports to the world community giving powerful voice to the American experience. Born of a multi-hued society, it unites people across the divides of race, region and national boundaries and Jazz music history has always made powerful statements about freedom, creativity and American identity at home and abroad.

Jazz is not the result of choosing a tune, but an ideal that is created first in the mind, inspired by one's passion, and willed next in playing music. Its unique expression draws from life experience and human emotion as the inspiration of the creative force, and through this discourse is chronicled the history of a people. Musicians and those that follow the genre closely, can indeed be thought of as an artistic community complete with its leaders, spokesmen, innovators, aficionados, members, supporters & fans.

thank you sir,,

hello sir,,I'm sorry,,I'm later for submit this assigmnent..I will tell you about my favorite anime "NARUTO"
I really liked Naruto! It's my favorite anime and I've seen A LOT! The story is about a 12 year old named Naruto who is fighting for acknowledgement from his villagers and more. When he was just an infant, the 4th Hokage sealed the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox (Kyuubi in sub) inside of him to protect the villagers. The sealing took the 4th's life. Now, despite the fact that the 4th wanted people to reghard him as a hero, everyone looks down on him, thinking that he is the demon fox that took there loved ones lives and ect. The kids of the village don't know about this, but they look down on Naruto too simply because everyone else does. As the story progresses, it follows Naruto's acheivments and failures as a ninja and the other characters lives too. In part two, (Naruto Shippuuden) the story plot does move slowly, but that's just because they don't have enough manga yet! Naruto is funny, sad, has lots of twists and turns, and can make you angry at times (SASUKE!!!) so I'd say it's one of the best animes out there! I'd reccommend watching it in sub.

Thank you,,sir..

Max Payne review

I don't believe in heaven. .
I believe in pain. .
I believe in fear. .
I believe in death. .
There's an army of bodies under this river. .
Criminals. People who ran out of time. .
Out of friends. .
Next time they drag this river .
they will find me on the bottom with the rest of them. .
And there won't be anyone left to say I was different. .
I could feel the dead down there. .
Just below my feet. .
Reaching up to welcome me as one of their own. .
It was an easy mistake to make. .

Max Payne movie directed by John Moore and written by Beau Thorne in release on Oct 17, 2008 get a good reception from public. Max Payne earn a income in the first week in the amount of $40,632,110. Genre this film is action. This film told about a cop starred by Mark Wahlberg as Max Payne. Max payne are investigating the murder case of his wife Sarah Marshall starrted by Mila Kunis. That murder case was became cold investigation for 4 years. And Max always believe he can solve that case and revenge to the murder. Then Max get a clue and get closer to solve that case. But so close Ma x to solve that case so many murder case happen, all the victim are Max’s informants and Max’s clue.

I think this film very violent and woouw. . To many weapon contact, and for supporting that the audio visual and effect very excellent make that film become interesting. I think you must see this film. You can see trailer film in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2jAEoBz6RY.

Make sure you see Max payne
