Bulding a Prosperous Nation
Assalamualaikum wr wb.
The honourable, the judge of english contest, the teacher, brother and sister and all the partisipan of english contest , good morning.
May i tell you first of all how pleased i'm to have an opportunity to stick here and deliver a speech before you, my speech title is 'Building a Prosperous Nation'.
Ladies and Gentlemen
I'm very proud to be an Indonesian child. Indonesia is a famous country because of it's natural resources. The natural resources is divided into two, the first is the renewable natural resources, for example fishery, livestock, forestry etc. And the second is the unrenewable natural resources, for example petroleum, coal, gold, silver, chopper etc.
Ladies and Gentlemen
Indonesia has a rule that has been established in Indonesian constitution and it's about social welfare, the statement says that "earth, water and natural resources are essential principal for people welfare. They must be dominated by the nation and should be used for the people welfare. It means that all of the natural resources that are needed by the peopleand controlled by the nation for the Indonesian people welfare". from the statement above we can conclude that to become a prosperous nation it's not only the responsibility of the goverment, but also our responsibility as a good Indonesian citizen. We have responsibility for our self, nation and our beloved country.
Ladies and Gentlemen
As a good citizen, we must use the natural resources well, so we can help our nation, such as, we musn't cut the trees in a forest badly and continuosly, we must keep environment etc, and for us especialy as a student, we must study more diligently, it means that we will become more excellent person for build our nation to be a sophisticated country. And i'm sure, it will be true that for some years later we will have a prosperous nation, Let's hope for it, Shall we?
