Hard to Explain

One day, there was an Indonesian woman who married with a British man. They lived in America for several years.

One night, the husband heard his wife”s conversation with Indonesian people. After that conversation the husband asked his wife, “What is the meaning of waahh, lhoo, siih, and doong. Why did you say those words when speaking with the Indonesian people? ”

His wife laughed and answered, “It does not have any meaning”

“Then why the word used if you do not have any meaning?”

His wife answered, “It’s only to deepen the meaning”

“Really? Ohh”

Suddenly, the husband told his Indonesian wife, “I love you doong, I love you siih”

Sometimes there are someting hard to explain to people in foreign countries, the example are:
“Why do you call me bule?”

“What is an ojek in English?”
“What”s the difference between Ya iyalaah and Ya iya dooong?”
And else, what should we answer that questions?
