Hi my English teacher..hahaha.. To complete my English score I must write something in your blog. So, I decided to wrote an article about the milk which we drink. The main source of milk is cows, but milk from goats, sheep, and horse are also consumed. For example, milk from a female horse (mare), goat, or camel are consumed only in some regions of the world. People in Sumbawa love drinking fresh mare milk which usually called “susu kuda liar”, for its health benefits. They believe that drinking the milk can cure diseases like Tuberculosis, asthma, diabetes, and rheumatism.
The milk we drink usually, cow milk, has undergone one process or more to ensure its hygiene. Because the calcium in milk is easily absorbed, milk is believed to be the best source of the mineral, which is needed for bone and teeth formation. In addition, milk contains protein, vitamins A, B1, B2, C, D and other minerals like sodium, potassium and magnesium. Do only children that need milk? No, adults also could use the nutrients found in milk. Many adults stop drinking milk because they believe that milk make them become fat. However, milk isn’t make them become fat if it’s drink normally.
